The College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, a divisional four-four year campus of West Virginia University with two locations in Southern West Virginia (Montgomery and Beckley), seeks to hire a full-time visiting instructor of Spanish with the potential for renewal up to three years and beginning in Fall 2016. We seek an experienced college-level Spanish teacher whose primary responsibilities will be teaching 12 credit hours of beginner and intermediate Spanish courses per semester. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Spanish and English, and a commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Additional responsibilities include participation in faculty service activities, student advising, committee assignments, attending regular faculty and department meetings, and other duties as assigned.
